Filmaporto is a film commission aiming to promote the production of cinema in the city of Porto. It offers financing, logistic solutions, courses and other initiatives. The physical and cultural landscape of the city makes it a prolific ground for imagining and setting multiple narratives, and this is precisely what its graphic identity stands on as well.
The multiplicity of (audiovisual) formats the identity assumes correlates with the numerous scenarios the city has to offer, working as its own frame. The visual expression evolves within a modular system with different layers of content, much like windows in a city. The color palette was based on the memories of several directors from Porto, either imagined or real.
